Hey there! I’m Tamera, a creative entrepreneur, photographer, turned creative employee and author of The Photo CEO: A Practical Guide for How to Book Clients, Get Paid and Master the Business of Photography Without Losing Your Sh*t.
I went from offering my services for free to managing five-figure commercial photo shoots for major brands like KINLÓ by Naomi Osaka, Teleflora and Loved01 by John Legend to now working in house for a major fashion retailer.
Along the way, I’ve learned what it takes to successfully run a profitable creative business with no outside funding and I want to share those lessons and more with other high earning creatives who are looking to refine their skills and rediscover themselves along the way.
The truth: having a creative career is a vibe, but it’s still a job. I’ve learned not to make work so precious and separate the work from who I am as a person, through deep work (ahem losing clients and therapy) over the past few years.
